Interior Design Process
Each project is unique, and a design quote will be provided following a thorough assessment of your requirements after the initial consultation.
Project management for new builds or renovations is not included. Site visits and on-site oversight by the interior designer to ensure the design vision is upheld are charged separately and quoted on a project-specific basis.
01. Initial Consultation
- Understanding your needs, goals, lifestyle, and preferences.
- Discussing project scope, budget, timeline, and desired aesthetics.
- Note: The first 30 minutes is free, thereafter a fee of R400 per 30 minutes is charged.
02. Site Visit & Measurements
- Visiting the space to take measurements and assess architecture, lighting, and structural details.

04. Space Planning
- Considering floor plans, furniture layouts, and spatial arrangements.
- Ensuring efficient use of space that aligns with your daily routines and flow.

- Selecting finishes, furnishings, lighting, and décor elements.
- Curating materials, textiles, and furniture that reflect the approved concept.
06. Mood Boards
- Providing basic visual representations per room and the items and colours to go in it.
07. 3D Photorealistic Renderings
- Providing realistic visual representations of the final design.
- Helping clients visualize the finished space before implementation.
08. Design Presentation
- Delivering a comprehensive design package including drawings, specifications, and sourcing information.
09. Styling Guide
- Offering suggestions on how to style and place items once delivered.
